We have been trying a new style of science this term. It began with the class being put into five 'companies'. Every week, each pupil has a different role to play in the company (admin manager, communication manager, resource manager, personnel manager or heaqlth adn safety manger). In our first session we recieved a letter from the Road Maintenance Team asking which salt (pure or rock salt) is the most efficient and best value for money for using on our roads. We worked togther to investigate and write back to Mr I. C. Highway recommending which one he should use.
