Learning together, growing together

Australia day

We dressed up today, for Australia day!
We have learnt about creatures which live in Australia, and many visited school today - cuddly ones!
We listened to music of a didgeridoo, and Jack played his real didgeridoo.  We have made our own.
We liked the dot paintings made by Australian Aborigines and painted some too.
Today we tasted cheese and vegemite sandwiches, which Australian children enjoy, and Jack's Mum also made some delicious Anzac biscuits which families used to send to their soldiers in the First World War so they had more to eat.
