Letters and Sounds Daily 20 minute video teaching phonics (released on the 27th April 2020). These videos are at the right level for the majority of our Reception class if your child has their second Jolly Phonics book (little orange book with sounds, actions and tricky words) with the consonant digraphs ch, sh, th, ng in, your child should manage the Reception lessons well. If they only have one Jolly Phonics book from school (or they are struggling with the Reception lessons) they would be better to start with the Blending lessons to use and practise the sounds they already know.

Twinkl Many of the word writing, caption writing, hand writing and numeral formation sheets we use come from twinkle most of Reception are currently working through Phase 3 Phonics, if this looks too tricky for your child try Phase 2.
