Year 6
Week beginning Monday 13th July
We have reached the final week of the term and it is such a shame that we have not been able to participate in the usual end of year / end of primary school activities.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all on Friday (some in the morning and a group in the afternoon.) Be safe. Be kind. Have a great summer. Best wishes to you all.

15 pupils have been back at school for 3 weeks now and working hard. From PE with Joe Wicks in the morning to maths, reading, writing, SPaG and history. Not forgetting forest school two afternoons a week - we had pancakes around the fire pit and made a variety of objects including baskets and necklaces. Keep working hard and stay safe.

Hello year 6.
I hope you and your families are all safe and well. I hope you received more chocolate eggs than I did. I had to make my single egg last a week!
I have included more tasks for you to do this week. Remember don't worry or become anxious about any of them - just try your best. Remember to draw, colour, dance, sing and keep fit. My thoughts are with you all. I hope to see you all soon. Take care everyone. (Remember it is a stressful time for everyone so try to help out at home.)

Week 2 writing tasks - two pieces of writing to complete. The first is a narrative and the second piece is a non-chronological report.
Hello year 6.
I hope you are all feeling well and keeping safe. This is a very strange time for everyone.
Please try to do some work every day and don't forget to help the adults at home.
If you still have work in your book then keep going with that. Remember to do a little reading, writing, arithmetic, maths and spelling, punctuation and grammar each day.
I have added more tasks onto the link below.
Please don't get anxious about any task - try to do it - or ask an adult for help. If you are really 'stuck' move on to something else.
Remember to log on to Times tables Rock Stars, Mathletics and Lexia every day. These are key skills and will help to keep your brains 'ticking over'.
Don't forget to do some singing, dancing and art too. If you can, take part in the Joe Wicks daily workout at 9am every morning that should get you going.
Take care everyone. Remember to check the website every week.
Thinking of you all.
Mrs Tait
