The Local Governing Board of Newburn Manor Primary School are looking for a Governor.
 
Could you make a positive contribution to our school?
 
Being a governor is a rewarding way of making a voluntary contribution to the lives of our children.
 
We would be delighted to hear from anyone who has:
• an interest in the performance of the schools
• an open and enquiring mind and the ability to look at issues objectively
• the confidence to ask questions and join in debate
• a willingness to listen and make informed judgements
• the ability to work well with others
• some time to spare (3 meetings per year held 5.00 - 7pm midweek) along with other opportunities to visit school at other times during the school day.

Being a governor can be enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding.  All governors must complete safeguarding checks and training.  Further training and support is available.
