COVID-19 Catch Up Premium

All children have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). The impact of lost time in education is substantial for children, particular those who are most vulnerable. Schools have been provided with funding to support the catch-up of all children. 

 

We understand that all children now need to make excellent progress to ensure they make progress towards  year group related expectations and are fully prepared for the next stage of their learning at the end of primary school.

 

To aid in this, the government announced £1 billion of funding to support children and young people to catch up lost time after school closure. Please see our catch up plan which states Newburn Manor Primary's allocation and how it will be used across the school.
