Newcastle Autism Support Hubs

  • The Alan Shearer Centre A highly specialist, respite, residential and social facility for people living with complex disabilities and acute sensory impairments.
  • Action for Children Advice for parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or additional needs.
  • Skills for People Skills for People helps disabled children and adults and their families to be in control and to have better lives. We also work with children with special educational needs. We offer help with planning, meeting other disabled people and their families, advocacy, advocacy groups, social activities, self help meetings and individual development.
  • Children North East Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. We work with babies, children and young people in their families, schools and communities to ensure they grow up to be healthy and happy.
