Schools 500 Games

This week, we have taken part in the city wide Schools 500 Games competition, run by the Newcastle PE and Schools Service. The week involved a multi-skills carousel, testing our speed, balance and agility. We balanced bean bags, dribbled balls and navigated ourselves around obstacle courses. We all had great fun! The second part of the games involved cross country. In today's heat that was quite a challenge but our children rose to it and had a fantastic time. We were pleased to have ice pops at the ready to help us cool down.

We've submitted our scores to the PE Service, and they will be compared to other schools in the city, we won't know until Monday if we've won, but we do know that taking part has been so much fun and we all pushed ourselves to be our best so we're already winners.
