Mrs Sue Bell

My name is Suzanne Bell, Parent Governor since 2019.  I am also one of the Curriculum Link Governors. I have a special interest in the overall running of the school and an interest in the curriculum it has to offer, as being a parent of two children in the school I feel it is important to have an understanding of this.

I was born in Newcastle and have been a civil servant since leaving school, working within pensions and more recently becoming a work coach within a Job Centre office. I have always had an interest in schools and teaching. I completed a teaching assistant course in 2019 and carried out my college placement here at Newburn Manor Primary School.  I continue to volunteer to assist on school trips when possible.

I am very proud of being a governor at Newburn Manor.  It is an exceptional school with a fantastic team of dedicated staff.  The school has a tremendous family feel to it where the children are nurtured and encouraged to develop to the best of their ability, resulting in children who are ready for their next step in their educational journey.
