We have enjoyed using junk modelling boxes and bottles to create our own Iron Man.

Our Class Trip to Newburn Activity Centre.

We had a fantastic time this morning at Newburn Activity Centre. We took part in archery, gymnastics activities and team building games like dodgeball and football.

Week 7

In our English lesson we were fortunate to meet Emily Dodd, a children's author and scientist. We asked her lots of questions about how she first became an author. It was a pleasure to hear abut her journey from scientist to children's author. Lots of her books have a science theme including the book she read to use called ,

'Surfing the Moon'. She inspired us to be really creative in our writing. Afterwards she gave us instructions to make our own paper rocket. Harper won a class competition to see which rocket would travel the furthest.

It was great fun!

Week 4

Year 3 are currently learning the value of each digit in a 3 - digit number. They have been using base 10 equipment  and arrow cards. Today they investigated different ways of partitioning a given number by moving the base 10 into different parts of a part-whole model.

Week 2
