Assessment

A yearly assessment is completed by 'Newcastle PE and School Sport Service' covering the curriculum expectations for each year group, a summitive snapshot for children’s attainment in PE.

PE assessment is on going during lessons, children will be assessed as a class to decide if they are ready to progress to the next part of the learning, making sure previous knowledge and skills are consolidated before moving on.  

Lesson plans and intentions as well as the progression of skills document will be used to assess skills attained.
