Assessment in Maths in Newburn Manor
At Newburn Manor, we are regularly using formative assessment each day in order to plan for and adapt future lessons. We use the White Rose Assessment materials to assess learning at the end of each term. This allows teachers to assess pupils’ arithmetic learning and problem solving skills from Year 1 to Year 6 on a regular basis. These results are then used to assess pupils in each area of mathematics on our online tracking system (Itrack).
