Spring Term
PE
This half term Miss Morgan is learning how to teach amazing PE lessons with our coach Joe. He is in with us for one session a week working on negotiating space and turn taking. We have really enjoyed some of the games he has taught us and enjoyed learning how to look after our equipment by calling our bean bags 'Mr Bean Bag' and apologising when we drop him on the floor when we are practising our balancing and our throwing and catching.
Term 2b Week 2
We have had a very busy week in Reception, building big and little bear caves, writing descriptions of the bear hunt bear, practising our independent reading, and working hard to draw an alien on World Book Day with a Zoom lesson from the Author and Illustrator Simon Bartram.

Term 2b Week 1
This half term we are thinking about the question 'Where do bears live?' we are learning to tell the story of 'We're Going On a Bear Hunt' using the repeated refrains and actions we have made up. We have enjoyed listening to the story and watching Michael Rosen do his version of 'We're Going On a Bear Hunt' on youtube.
