  • School Awards

    Two classes deserve a special mention this week for a fabulous effort.  Reception won the Key Stage 1 Awards for Attendance and Punctuality, as well as the Golden Mile trophy; Year 6 not only won the Key Stage 2 Awards for Attendance and Punctuality but also the school's Spelling Award!  Bravo!
  • 'Come and See' Drop-In Morning

    We are holding another parent/carer 'Come and See' drop-in morning on Thursday, 26 January 2017.  Parents are invited to pop in between 9.00 am and 12 noon to find out more about how and what their children are currently learning in class.  Please come along if you can.

  • Library Revamp

    Our school library is now beautifully organised and looks much more welcoming thanks to Susannah Whittock from Whittock Library Solutions.  Take a look at the photos to see the difference!  We are now looking forward to Susannah's regular termly visits to help us purchase new stock and keep the library looking attractive.
  • Year 4 Swimming

    Parents/carers of Year 4 children are reminded that swimming lessons at the Outer West Pool will start on Thursday, 12 January 2017.  Please ensure your child has appropriate swimwear and a towel in a bag to take with them.  They will travel to the pool by coach and arrive back at school at the later time of around 3.20 pm.

  • Sixth Form Volunteers

    We will be welcoming some volunteers from Walbottle Campus Sixth Form into school each Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 16 January 2017 to help support and encourage pupils in reading.  This is in addition to existing support already provided in school and we feel sure they will provide positive role models to further promote good reading habits.

  • Reception Open Afternoons

    We would like to invite parents/carers to our Reception class open afternoons to be held every Monday from 9 January 2017, between 3.00 - 3.30 pm, when your child can share their learning environment with you.  No appointment needed, just come and go as you please.
