Super Learning Success

The children all had a magnificent time on Friday during our Super Learning Day ’Newburn Goes Bang!'. The theme of the day was the Gunpowder Plot and various activities took place throughout the day.  The children not only learnt more about the history of the period but also took part in some amazing Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) activities hosted by our special visitor, Technology Tom.  Please chat to your children about some of the fabulous things they did and visit their class pages to find out more.  We were delighted when a lot of the children chose to dress up for the day and we are grateful to parents for helping them to prepare costumes.  We really do value your support.
