Local and national support for parents and carers of children with SEND

SEND Support Hub event

Please see details of the next SEND Support Hub event, delivered on behalf of Newcastle Parent Carer Forum. It is a chance for parents and carers to learn about local education, health and social care services for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities (aged 0 to 25). Representatives from a range of these services will be there to share information and chat about what support they can offer.

 

Date: Wednesday 26th November 2025

Time: 10am to 1pm

Location: Galafield Family Hub, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 1LZ

 

Parents, carers and families can arrive anytime, and there is no need to book. Any accompanying children can use the soft play for free. Families don’t need to book but can scan the QR code to register their interest.

Supporting the emotional wellbeing of autistic children webinars

Tuesday 30th September and Tuesday 25th November, 1pm-3pm

 

Register now for 'Supporting the emotional wellbeing of autistic children' Zoom webinars, delivered by North East Autism Society. Please note this course is suitable for parents/carers of children aged 7 and over who are experiencing low level emotional wellbeing difficulties.

Parents/carers only. You only need to attend one date for each course as they are repeat sessions.
