Sports Afternoon

Year 4 had a brilliant afternoon on Monday taking part in our class sports afternoon.  It was coolest day of the week so we were lucky.  The children showed great resilience, having a go even if it wasn't easy and I was so pleased to hear shouts of support from children to their peers as I ran around the field taking photographs.  Well done Year 4!

Big Gig

Year 4 had a brilliant time at the Vertu Motors Arena for the Big Gig.  They played songs from the movies that they have been practising in class with Mr Rudkin.  They had a wonderful time and Mrs Peters, Mrs Newton and Mr Vyle were impressed with their behaviour.  Well done Year 4!

Today we had Bikeability in school.  We had the opportunity to cycle in the playground and learned how to have greater control when riding our bikes.

We have been practising our times tables this week in a final preparation for our Multiplication Check next week.  We have played lots of different games in class and created our own tricky facts posters to help us remember the facts that we find most difficult.

A brilliant first week back after the half term break.  We had Mr Rudkin in class on Tuesday for our Ukulele session.  Mrs Gill was very impressed with our playing and loved the songs from the movies that we will be playing at the Big Gig.

Year 4 have been reading the story of Romeo and Juliet here are their animated interpretations of that story.

We incorporated pop art when making our collages.

We are learning to play the Ukelele, ready for The Big Gig on Friday 19/06/26.
