There will be a church service for the children on Thursday, 4 April 2019, at the Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels, Newburn.

Children are asked to decorate either a hat, tie, t-shirt, pair of socks (or anything else you can think of!) for their Easter Parade in front of the whole school on Wednesday 3 April 2019.  There will be two parades.  We ask that parents/carers of children in Key Stage 2 attend the first performance at 9.30 am and those of Reception and Key Stage 1 children attend the 2.00 pm performance please. We will be holding an Easter raffle too, so please support the school by buying some tickets. You could win a prize!

Parents/carers of Year 4 children are invited to come along to a short concert on Tuesday, 2 April 2019, 9.30 am - 10.00 am, when the children will be showing off what they have been learning during their weekly pocket trumpet lessons.

Children are invited to decorate a boiled egg to bring into school for display from Monday, 1 April 2019 until Thursday, 4 April 2019.  Tables will be set up to show off their wonderful Easter egg creations!

From Monday, 1 April 2019 - Thursday, 4 April 2019, we will be hosting 'The Book People' Book Fair at school. This is the first time we have hosted this organisation so please do come into school and browse the wide selection of children's books which will be on sale. We will receive 25% commission from sales to purchase books for school.  Please see the photos for a small selection of the books and games on offer.

Year 6 also won the Spelling Award again this week, setting the standard for the whole school.  Fabulous work everyone!

Parents/carers of children in Reception class are invited to join us as at our Celebration Assembly on Friday, 29 March 2019 at 10.10 am, as we celebrate the week's achievements of children in school.

Parents/carers of pupils in Year 4 are invited to attend a Tudor-themed class assembly hosted by the children on Tuesday, 26 March 2019 at 10.10 am.  Please come along if you can!
