Following the appointment of Mr Pickup as our new Head Teacher in September 2017, we are delighted to announce that Mrs Gill has been promoted to Deputy Head Teacher.  We are also happy to have appointed Miss Wall, who currently works in our school as a supply teacher, to be the Year 5 class teacher.  The new Reception teacher will be Miss Morgan who we are pleased to welcome into the Newburn Manor Primary family.  All of our new appointees will be assets to our wonderful school.

There is to be a Teacher Training Day on Friday, 26 May 2017 so school will be closed to pupils.  Following this, children are on holiday for half-term and will return to school on Monday, 5 June 2017, at the usual time of 8.55 am.

We are holding another parent/carer 'Come and See' drop-in morning on Tuesday, 16 May 2017.  Parents are invited to pop in between 9.00 am and 12 noon to find out more about how and what their children are currently learning in class.  Please come along if you can.

Parents/carers of children in Years 1 and 4 are invited to join us at our Celebration Assembly on Friday, 12 May 2017, 10.15 - 10.45 am, as we celebrate the achievements of children in school.

We are soon to be starting an after-school cricket club in association with our linked cricket club Benwell & Walbottle CC and All Round Cricket Coaching.
