Parent Consultation Day - no school for children today, although they may be brought along whilst parents/carers attend appointments.  School will be open again as usual on Thursday, 17th March 2016, at the usual time of 8.55 am.

On World Book Day the children celebrated by coming to school dressed as their favourite fictional characters.  During Family Group time the younger children listened intently as the older children read favourite stories to them.  A fabulous time was had by all!  We hope you enjoy looking at our photos.

There will be a school disco on Tuesday, 23 February 2016, 4.00 - 5.30 pm for pupils at this school. Entry is £2.00 and includes refreshments.  Please pay on the door.

Year 2 children have produced some amazing homework on the theme of Building Bridges this week.  Do take a look at the photos, the results really are fantastic! Many thanks to all parents/carers who supported their children in this task. www.newburnmanorprimary.co.uk/year-2-3/

We were delighted when Ray from Kielder Water Birds of Prey Centre brought some birds to visit us at school.  He showed us several different breeds of owls and a vulture.  Some of us got a chance to handle them and we all learned lots of amazing facts about these wonderful creatures.

There will be a Celebration Assembly on Friday, 8 January 2016, 10.15 - 10.45 am.  Parents/carers of children in Years 2 and 4 are invited to join us as we celebrate this week's achievements of children in school.
