Parents are invited to visit their child's classroom on Thursday, 30 March 2017, any time between 9.00 am and 12 noon to find out more about what the children are currently learning. Please note that Years 3 and 4 will be out meeting an author so will only be available in their classrooms from 11.00 am.

Parents/carers of children in Year 4 are invited to a short concert on Tuesday, 28 March 2017 at 9.30 am, when the children will showcase what they have learned during their weekly pocket trumpet lessons with Mr Rudkin from Newcastle Music Service.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the PTFA film show on Tuesday, 21 March 2017. £154.72 was raised from the sale of refreshments.

Parents/carers of children in Years 2 and 6 are invited to join us on Friday, 24 March 2017 at 10.15 am, as we celebrate this week's achievements of children in school.

Parents/carers of pupils in Year 4 are invited to attend a class assembly hosted by the children on Thursday, 23 March 2017, 10.10 am - 10.45 am, when they will share some of the things they have been learning about the Romans. Please come along if you can.

We now have a red postbox situated near the ramp outside in the Key Stage 2 yard.  This is a suggestion box for parents/carers.  Please feel free to post any amazing ideas for school.  It will be emptied weekly.

The next meeting of the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) will take place at school on Tuesday, 21 March 2017 from 2.00 pm until 3.00 pm. New members are welcome. Please come along if you are interested.

Thank you to everyone who supported the British Heart Foundation 'Jump Rope for Heart' skipping challenge on Thursday.  We all had an amazing time showing off our skipping skills and even managed to sneak in some hula hooping too!  Please return sponsorship money to school by Friday, 17 March 2017.  Either 80% of the money raised or £100 (whichever is greater) will be donated to the British Heart Foundation with the remainder going to the school.
